Feng Shui - Bagua Map

    The Bagua is an energy map for your home. The Chinese word Bagua means 8 symbols. Therefore, the bagua is eight symbols around a center. These symbols are connected to different aspects of life. Each gua (or symbol) also has countless other layered meanings such as colors, elements, shapes, organs, and so much more. With the center of the bagua being the heart of the home where the energy is distributed to all the different sectors. Hence, the traditional bagua is a hexagon. I'll post a few examples. These will generally cover:
            1. Power/Wealth/Abundance
            1. Fame/Future/Reputation
            1. Love/Relationships/Marriage
            1. Creativity/Children/Legacy
            1. Compassion/Travel/Helpful People
            1. Self/Career/Work
            1. Knowledge/Wisdom/Harmony
            1. Family/Health/Community
            1. Well-Being/Balance

    Hope the above is helpful. It's a good idea to find some resources on this part and perhaps even a good book. Either a kindle or, as I prefer, an old fashioned paper book... nothing beats the smell and feel of a real book.

    I love each Bagua map you have shared. I can also see the premise and how to apply each to your real life. When I looked at the map to get oriented, I thought about the colors and totally understood why each color was assigned to the life principle. It made sense that red would be assigned to career/fame/reputation. Each color really represents each principle well and I can see where each principle with color could blend easily to the next principle, which is clear why the wheel works in this instance as a great visual. Now I'm ready for the next steps in viewing my life orientation. I love the feel of a real book too. I have a small library of health books so now I'm interested in if Bagua is somewhere in my books. I know I have books on ayurveda and the body chakra principles but now I'm curious about about Bagua. Very helpful, thank you! This thread and group 5 stars!
